The Games are almost here! And a sure sign of that is when the Canada Games flag arrived in Halfiax for the Flag Raising Ceremony at Celebration Square (Grand Parade) in downtown Halifax. Mayor Peter Kelly was on hand as well as members of the of the 2011 Host Society and the Canada Games Council Board of Directors. The flag raising was a symbol of the legacy that the 1969 Canada Summer Games in Halifax/Dartmouth has left behind as well as the building of new legacy with the 2011 Canada Games.
